Basic Course – Social Ballroom Dance – Standard & Latin for couples
In your first introductory course, our goal is to teach you basic steps and easy figures in a variety of ballroom dances with a lot of fun and good music. You will learn the basic moves in social-trend dances like Blues, Foxtrot, Discofox, in the standard dances of Slow Waltz and Tango and in the Latin-American dances of ChaCha, Rumba and Jive.
Many steps are repetitive in several of the dances, making learning so many new dances is exciting and yet still beginner friendly. By the end of this 8-week class you will know the basics in a variety of dances that you can build upon and put to use to dance to the music at balls and celebrations.
